What is DoReserve.com ?

DoReserve.com is an online software solution enabling individuals and companies to allow their clients to schedule online appointments, and keep track of them in a system. Users can access the system anywhere they have internet connection, get SMS messages when an appointment is made and have the system remind clients before an appointment begins. Users can choose to have a web page solution for their company at DoReserve.com in which case they have presentation of their company, employees, Google map to find where it is or an Iframe plug in to insert into their existing web page.

How much is this going to cost us?

You get a free 30 days trial (excluding SMS) but the prices are found under the price list tab. Generally users pay a monthly fee based on the package they choose and then need to purchase SMS packages especially as they are costing us additionally. The SMS reminders are though the most important option in this system, and will increase your customer satisfaction and your revenues as clients remember to show up instead of forgetting it, usually at your cost.

Do I need to install anything?

No, the only thing you need is an online PC or a smart phone and you are set to use our system.

How does the system work if I already have a home page for my company?

You can choose between two methods: 1) Put a link on your homepage to your web page at DoReserve where your clients reserve their appointments, 2) Insert an Iframe directly into your home page allowing your clients, never to leave the homepage, while doing the reservation.

Is my data secure ?

We do not sell, give or in anyway treat your data insecurely. Both your data and your clients data is safe with us as it can be in internet systems. There are daily backups and we keep in addition for longer periods a weekly backup + a monthly backup.

Can I contact you if I have trouble setting up my system?

You have always free access to our email service, but if you have signed up for our basic or advanced system, you can also get assistance using our live help.

Can I export data ?

Yes, you can export client data and info about all reservations to Google docs and calender.

Can I accept payments using the DoReserve system?

Yes, you can now use PayPal to accept payments and more methods are on the way.

My system payment did not go through, will I loose my data?

Under no circumstance will DoReserve delete any data. In cases where client has not paid nor accessed his data for long periods of time (several months) we will however close access and store the data separately.

How can I quit using your service?

You don't need to do anything, besides stop using the system. We do not withdraw automatically from your credit cards in any case. You always control if you buy month by month or a longer period, and again we do not use automatic credit card withdrawals.

If I want to use the DoReserve system for my boat rental, my hair salon and my advisory firm, what do I need to do ?

If you have a few small firms, you can use one scheduler for them all and set up your services accordingly. We however recommend that you use seperate system for each specialized service so that you do not confuse your clients.

How can I stop clients from making reservation with short notice?

This is in system settings. You can limit orders to a prefered limit to avoid too short notice orders. You can also limit orders to occur, too long into the future if that suits you.

What web browsers work with the system?

DoReserve works in Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Safari 4 & 5, Firefox 1.5, 2, 3, 3,5 og 3,6, Opera 9 & 10, and Google Chrome. This is basically all the browser used today, so you should not worry about this. Our system also works in javascript enabled mobile phones such as IPhone, BlackBerry and dozens of others.

What languages ?

We offer the system in English, Russian and Icelandic but more languages are being intergrated. If your language is not included and you would like to use our software, please contact us, and we can see if we can arrange that for you.

What plugins do you offer?

Plugins are software enhancements that you can set up from the system settings. We are always adding more plug ins to solve the needs of our clients.
Available plug ins today are (plug ins are free, but number of usable plug ins depends on subscription): Payment plugin, that allows you to show prices and accept payments for your services.
Multiple images plug in that allows you to show many images for the service that you offer.
Additional fields plugin where you can set new fields with questions that you need to ask your clients at time of order.
Product cost tracking. This plug in allows for example service person to insert products and prices used while doing the service. The cashier can then easily see what to charge without asking the client about what was used.
Service grouping plug in allows users to group certain services in the service listings so that relevant services are shown together. This is good to use in cases where the company is offering alot of different services.
More plugins are coming to help you solve all the needs that you may run into.

I tried to register but got no email confirmation ?

Sometimes emails get trapped in the Internet email system. Please look in your spam folder, try wait a little, contact us or try to re-register with another email address.

Can I use DoReserve for restaurant table reserving ?

That can be solved today but we are working on enhancements to make it work even better.

Can I use my own URL?

Yes you can. If you own a domain name, and prefer using that as your homepage instead of YOURCOMPANYNAME.DORESERVE.COM, then you can. All you need to do is to change your DNS servers and set them to point the A record to our IP 109.74.204.32. For this service we charge $40 set up costs and additional $10 per month to your subscription package.

Can I also book appointments in system ?

Of course you can also book appointments in the admin side of the system. If a client calls in for example and asks for any provider at some time, you just select the time and date, and only available providers are shown. If client wants a specific provider, you just select that provider, and his schedule is shown.

Can I put my logo on the templates that you offer?

Yes, you can have your own logo on the top of template. If you want a specific banner or different colors, that can also be arranged for low costs ($50 - $100). Contact us at support@doreserve.com

Who will get SMS messges and reminders?

You and your staff, decide who receives SMS and when. You can have client and/or service provider receive SMS, at time the reservation is created. You can remind the client and/or service provider before the set appointment at pre-defined times.

If my clients need to cancel an order, will they need to call me ?

Your clients can log in to system and cancel online. In the case of cancellations, can you have the system send you a notification message.

How long into the future can clients make reservation ?

The clients can reserve appointments up to 24 months in the future. The system allowsYou can limit how long in the future your clients can reserve.

Can I create different access for my employees?

We are working on creating 3 access schemes:
User (staff that can see their own timetable)
Admin (supervisors, that can arrange all things concerning scheduling)
Owner (company owner, that has access to company setup info in addition to all other functions)

I need help setting up the system?

If our email service or online service is not enough, we can for a modest fee of $20, guide you personally through all setup. We will log in to your account, same time as you, and take care of the settings so they match your company's requirements.

How can DoReserve know my opening hours, my vacations etc?

That is easy. In settings you just define your normal week, which then applies to all working days, and then you specify all special vacation days in the calender.

If I (the workstation) can service more than one at a time, how can you solve that?

You can allow multiple scheduling for each defined employee (workstation). For example a private trainer may allow up to 4 in each training group while a day tour guide, may allow up to 20 people to sign up. If the workstation is for example a bus, then the appropriate number of seats will be set as available service units for this specific workstation.

Can anyone outside my company see my registrations and clients?

No, no one will see your clients, besides you and your employees. You can also limit access to the scheduler by only showing it to signed in users that have confirmed who they are by email or by SMS.

When does my client receive a SMS reminder?

He receives a reminder at the time you pre-defined in the system. You can define this to be 30 minutes before scheduled appointment or 1 hour before or whatever time you choose.

If some other employee books an appointment to my schedule, will I receive a notification?

Yes, only the relevant booked employee receives a notification.

Can I send my clients offers and messages?

Yes, absolutely. You can choose to send either SMS or email messages to only a selected group. You could for example only send clients that have not purchased a certain service for over 3 months and offer them some special deal. Doing this by SMS can give you very quick booking results.
